What clash days mean for your plans

The clash tag on /today is our built-in nudge to add cushions. Treat it like a windy-weather alert and your schedule instantly becomes kinder.

Explain the signal gently

When the clash tag appears, remind yourself (and teammates) that it simply forecasts extra friction for that zodiac--just like a weather app flagging strong wind. Framing it that way keeps the focus on pacing, not superstition.

Map buffer time with the calendar heatmap

Open /calendar and toggle the clash overlay to spot clusters of red squares. Move launches, legal calls, or intense conversations to lighter blocks, and save admin or maintenance work for the hotter days. Those shifts give everyone extra breathing room.

Offer care to the highlighted sign

If the tagged sign is yours, switch solo presentations to co-hosting, lengthen travel buffers, or block quiet recovery time. If it belongs to a teammate, check in, trade chores, or invite a neutral sign to pair up (Rat day? Ask a Horse or Goat friend to co-lead). Small gestures keep the day collaborative.

Keep notes for next time

Drop a quick line into your project tracker or journal whenever you adjust for clash days. Exporting the heatmap once a month helps you spot patterns--maybe finance reviews always fall on your clash days--so future-you can reschedule before crunch time.
